Revd Chris Hodder

We said a sad, tearful, heartfelt and yet happy goodbye last Sunday, to our vicar Chris Hodder, Louise, Emily and Lucy. Chris prepares to take up his post with the RAF post as Chaplain at RAF Marham.

Seven and a half years in which Chris and family have enriched the lives of all with whom they have become involved both within and outside of St Paul's.

We will miss them hugely - they leave a hole in our hearts and day to day church life.

We presented Chris with a wonderfully creative card (Chris on a camel following his star "per ardua ad astra" - thanks Janice Sutton), a book bursting with heartfelt goodbyes, memories and a few pictures of Chris dressing up - we realise he did that a lot. Also enough chocolate to last till Easter, Prosecco (entirely for Louise!) and a cheque for just over £1,400 - thanks to the overwhelming generosity of all who contributed to the gift.

Here's a few pictures of Chris in various guises over the last seven and a half years, and the leaving event.
