One Life Mission Ceilidh

Let's get dancing ... " I am the Lord of the dance said he..." (Sydney Carter)

The Archbishop of York and several of his bishops are leading The One Life Mission in the Diocese. The mission takes place from Thursday 12th September to Sunday 15th September.   Every church is invited to take part in the mission, which will be a catalyst for a whole range of activities and events designed to share the Good News of Jesus with communities across the diocese

All parishes in the diocese are being invited to hold a special event, and as part of this, we will be holding a Ceilidh on the evening of Saturday 14th September, its about inviting your friends to join us for fun.

Bishop Julian, the Bishop of Blackburn, (or one of his team,) will speak briefly during the refreshments break and share a little of their faith and highlight our follow-up "Christian Basics" sessions - our new vicar Tim Fox will be leading "Chatting about faith" - starting on Tuesday 1st October.

A great opportunity to bring those big questions around a table and hear how a life focused on Jesus is the answer.
